Knox Presbyterian Church

Knox is a Presbyterian Church that congregates on Sunday mornings to explore and discuss Christian faith. 

Knox Presbyterian is an inclusive Christian atmosphere for spiritual nourishment and caring fellowship. They believe in social justice, community, and compassion. Their doors are open to everyone. Knox is a place of sanctuary; where you are embraced for being your authentic self.

At the same time, the leadership at Knox realized that their Sunday morning crowd came from outside the neighborhood, while the surrounding area changed and new neighbors arrived who didn’t know the church. 

They came to us asking, “What happens when Sunday morning doesn’t look like the neighborhood?”

Together with Parish Properties, we helped them explore this question through a series of interviews and retreats, and property assessments. We created a report with recommendations to help them discover how to become a sustainable community hub and engage their neighbors as well as the Sunday morning community. We then worked to create and implement a season of fundraising plans.
