Allies in Arts supports artists who are women, BIPOC and LGBTQIA2S who face barriers as a direct result of race, gender, sex, and sexual orientation. The mission of this innovative non-profit is to break down those barriers by awarding grants, curating exhibitions and screenings, and connecting artists with the decision-makers who can hire them. Allies in Arts has been engaged in wildly successful projects like @transanta which provides gifts to trans youth in need, and the Queer Black Futures project.

Mieke consulted one-on-one with the Executive Director to help create a solid infrastructure for growth and sustainability. Together, they worked on:

  • articulating money narratives

  • review of organizational structure with recommendations

  • engaging in organizational changes
