Kellie Anderson-Picallo is a minister, media professional and fundraiser. She is an ordained Presbyterian PC(USA) minister and a former PBS and Discovery Channel producer who has received professional honors including a Time Magazine Award, an Emmy Award and 2 Telly’s. With solid achievements in creating programs, educational resources and building strategic partnerships, Kellie has raised over $2 million in institutional support for values-based institutions.
Kellie is the Director of Mission Strategy for First Presbyterian Church of Englewood, a growing and diverse congregation in Bergen County, NJ, and oversees their community grant-making program. She is also a Senior Media Trainer for the Auburn Media & Messaging program at Auburn Theological Seminary and leads workshops to equip leaders with media-savvy skills that have been a resource to more than 3,000 faith leaders. A frequent preacher and teacher, she knows the power of the media to create social change. Kellie is the co-creator of the social media platform 90 Second Sermon, and consults on religion, media and communications. She previously coordinated ON Scripture at Odyssey Networks, a multimedia resource that approaches the Bible and Lectionary through the lens of current events.
Kellie is a graduate of Union Theological Seminary in NYC with an undergraduate degree in journalism. Kellie lives in Brooklyn with her husband and high school and college-aged kids.
